Open Question: If I have the first generation iphone, do I pay the old at&t voice plan amount?

The old at&t data voice plan used to be $30, but since they clip the price dramatically in the new 3G iphone, they bumped up the price monthly to $45! Can I receive a first generation iphone off of ebay and pay what the old price used to be since the first iphone had no 3G coverage? THANKS!

I want people who know about the iPhone and people who know about it in general and personal opinions I ask this because of the following reasons: 1.Price (especially since cheaper yet similar type phones that are touch screens are coming out of the wood works) 2.Rumors about it messing up every the time 3.Heard its difficult to send people who dont have iPhones picture messages 4.Heard texting was difficult because of the touchscreen But one thing I have heard alot about that you cant receive on other phones is that it has every those applications you can add on for a fee of course and it has a built in iPod which would spare me from buying and carrying around a extra device What do you think is it worth it or does the good out weigh the bad?

Open Question: How loud is the music when being played through the speakers is the iPhone?

I went to the Apple store today and was messing around with the iPhones cos i'm getting one for christmas. I noticed that when being played through the speakers, not through the ear phones, that the music was really silent. I suppose it might have that it was noisy in the store but i doubt it. I had it on the maximum volume and i could just about hear the music. So is the music noisy when being played through the speakers? I was just thinking that the volume might be like that in the shops for some reason. Anyway, does anyone possess an iPhone (3G by the way if that makes any difference) and is the music noisy?? At the moment i have an old Sony Erricson and even that plays louder.

I have an ipod touch and i just downloaded some of the free apps to my computer and synced my ipod but i can't seem to find them on my ipod. I have the 2.0 software on it currently and my itunes is asking me to update my software for my ipod touch to the latest iphone 2.1 software for $9.95. i am thinking of purchasing an iphone. everywhere i look on line has a couple of reviews and a couple of comments left from people that have purchased one. not a lot of help. i have a few questions: some of the apps seem pretty chilly. i have seen many apps from games and noises to where to dine out tonight. do those cost money? if so how much or do certain apps cost more or less? do any iphone users have any pro and cons that they would like to share? i use my phone for everything....pics, texts, videos, email, internet, camera, a phone(ha i put that one last.) i currently have a brand new samsung blackjack(probably on of my favorite phones ever.) my mom needs a new phone so i just might give her mine and receive the iphone...any little bit of advice would help thanks every..

I know there are a bunch of posts discussing this issue and that many people say why not buy an itouch but my case is different. I am currently with Sprint but once my contract expires I may be switching to AT&T so if I could receive an Iphone right now and use it as an ipod until switching phone companies and using it as a phone right now then I would like to buy it. I also know someone that is willing to sell me an already unlocked iphone for very cheap so this is another reason. my boyfriend is being so secretive with his Iphone. He keeps in it sight at every times, he turns the front display around or places it on its back so I cant look who's calling, he sometimes puts the keylock on. I was wondering if at&t gave the detailed info of his outgoing and incoming call logs and text messages. my t-mobile bill shows every the detailed info on my monthly statements i found one of his phone bills, but its doesnt have any info on their about incoming/outgoing calls made or received. I was wondering if he set up his statments that way on purpose because my t-mobile bill shows every that info as a standard.

Open Question: Is the blackberry curve a good phone?

I returned my iphone 3g because it is not a good texting phone and having to pay $20 for unlimited text on top of the $69.99 for the data plan is a bit too much. Open Question: should i get an iphone or an itouch? ?

im thinking about getting an iphone or an itouch. i know both gadgets are almost the same. what i like about the iphone is that i could use the internet anywhere even if I am not in a wifi area. but im also leaning towards an itouch because i don't really need a new phone and it's difficult to text using the touch screen, can't really text only one handed.
